review // Carmex

Hey guys,
So today I thought i'd just do a small review on this little tube of goodness. The Carmex lip balm is a much hyped up product that many swear by as their solution for chapped lips. I've been testing this strawberry one out for a few weeks and well it's alright. Now don't take that the wrong way. I do like this lip balm, it defiantly stops my lips from chapping and makes them feel soft.  Which is the aim. On the other hand, a few negatives, the strawberry taste is very brief ( when I mean brief I mean you put it on and bam its gone) so that for me is a let down because what you are left with a is a tingly minty feeling which isn't my favorite  I like fruity things on my lips not mint leafs. But when I overcome this I do enjoy using this product but for me taste is a huge thing when it comes to my lips. So overall I'd give it an 3/5! For the price its defiantly worth a try, at about £2. So have you tried this product out? Or can you recommend any good lip balms in my quest? Let us know!

review // bareMinerals Scene Stealer

Hey guys,
Today I shall be talking about this little goodie that I picked up in the January sales. For Christmas I got two vouchers for debenhams so I thought i'd have a little mooch around. While aimlessly walking around all the make-up counters I came across this gift set by bareMinerals. The scene stealer contains 4 products well to help  you steal the scene! So lets see what was in this lovely box, oh did I mention it was only £13!
(L-R) Instant Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover, Pretty Amazing Lip Color, Prime Time Primer Eye Shadow in Pink Sugar, Round The Clock Waterproof Eyeliner in 1AM. This all together would have cost £59 making a saving of £46!
As you can see they are all really wearable colors, not the naff ones they want to be rid of and I will find a use for all of them. The lip gloss leaves a lovely stain and lasts for hours, the eye liner is a lovely black with flecks of glitter in and again this lasts forever. The primer shadow was a weird concept that you can either use too prime or use as a shadow, I think it makes a lovely subtle base to layer on but could also be worn on it's own. I'm yet to try the eye make-up remover but I've heard great things so i'm sure i'll tell you all about it in the near future! Have you tried this set? Or just picked up an amazing bargain? Let us know!

haul // LUSH

Hey guys! This shop is my absolute weakness I just want to buy everything especially the cute little Christmas gift set. Aw so cute ;). But because it so near to the festive season I had to restrict myself to a few little things but me and my friends so wanted to buy these color things that you can put on your eyes, lips, cheeks and even you're hair! They would have set us back £14.95 each. Ouch. Anyways on to what I actually brought!
First of all I pick us this little white ball of goodness. It's called So White and cost £3.20. It has thee strongest appley scent ever and that is coming from me that can't smell a thing. Damn chemistry ruining my smell! Anyways I can defiantly smell this as its all I have been able to smell in my room. Apparently you're meant to throw against the side of the bath and its meant to reveal a colorful center! I'm so excited to use this and i'm planing on using it as a Christmas Eve treat!
The next thing I brought I have been lusting over for months and months but always thought maybe it's a tad pricey but I finally gave in and i'm so glad I did! I got the Bubblegum Lip Scrub for £5.25. It smells so good as well as tasting amazing I could eat this all day, though I not advise that. This scrub is brilliant at removing all the nasty dry skin off of your lips leaving them nice and smooth. I normally apply my EOS afterwards just to keep that softness for longer! Lots of people say that you can just make you're own but they don''t last that long and taste no where near as good as this, everyone should have a little pot of the goodness!
My final purchase form LUSH was this colorful looking figure. It's the Party Popper bath bomb costing £2.95. I used this the other night so that review should be up in the next few days so I don't want to go into so much detail but this had to be one the most exciting bath bombs ever! It does what it says on the tin it's an absolute party popper. It blasts all over your bath revealing beautiful pinks and blues as well as some 'Soap Confetti'. You can use these little fragments to bath with and it's just heaven! But more of that is too come!

Have you brought anything recently from LUSH? If so what and has it got you into the festive season? Let us know!
