Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 23

I already have a full size of this but receiving a travel size is fine by me because it's such an all rounder hair product. It works as a mousse / volumizer and hair spray to give you those big pageant hair styles and keep them in place all day. I find if I've curled or even just straightened my hair a few sprits of this and a little rouching which give my hair that extra model potential look.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 22

I love Nails Inc polishes, I think for the price you really do get a quality product and they do have some of the most prettiest shades going in a range of different formulas. Porchester Square is defiantly a bloggers favourite and I can see why. It's an opaque warm grey that would complement any skin tone and give you a very sophisticate nail.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 21

I've been really trying to get into hair care recently after working out how bad split ends can get. This was warmly welcomed into my collection to help protect my hair which I attack with heat everyday. It doesn't really have a strong scent which is nice and I find to some extent it does make my hair look and feel stronger. It defiantly add's a lovely gloss and shine to my hair and for the price it's just a nice everyday product.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 20

Another Mavala nail polish, however I'm not complain I really enjoyed the formula of the glitter polish and am as equally impressed with the formula of this one. It's a really beautiful blue-toned red which is an absolute classic and every girl must have at least one in her collection. Really good nail polish, in a versatile shade.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 19

I'm already a huge fan of Carmex, I really do, for a drugstore product, fell like it adds moisture to my lips and reduces them getting chapped in the harsh cold winter months. I currently have the more liquid tube form, you know what I mean, so it was nice to try out the solid form. This has made it's way into my daily makeup bag and doesn't plan of leaving!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 18

Another fragrance sample wasn't great to receive, I really don't think these should be added to something I'm paying £30 purely because I can just get them for free from a counter. However I suppose the good thing is you can just throw them in your bag to touch up throughout the day. Not the best scent bit too dark and musky for me, you win some you lose some.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 17

I'm a huge soap and glory fan and too see this in the calender was lovely because I've tried all of the other scrubs apart from this one. It has the really classic soap and glory smell and works as a lovely exfoliator on the skin, not to harsh but removes all of the dry, dead skin cells. This is the perfect size for traveling so I will be taking with me next time I jet off somewhere!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 15

This eyeliner really has me on the fence. The negative of it is that its such a pain to apply and I find can be really mess and stick in your eyelashes. However the staying power is comparable to anything I've ever tried. I place a swatch on the back of my hand and, including have showers, its stayed for easily 5+ days. That is mental. I find that that it lasts on my oily lids and well is a great product apart from the application issues. For the price defiantly worth a purchase!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 14

Can you see the non existent perfume in the vial. Literally just drops in the bottom, not good, not good at all, however I do feel I coming to the end of ranting about stupid perfume samples. But this is just ridiculious like fine give me a perfume sample, but actually put some in the bottle. JEEZ. Not a happy bean.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 13

So this product I feel is more aimed at the more mature woman. It claims to reduce the signs of ageing around the eye and strengthen the lashes. Now I am only a mere 16 meaning I have young youthful skin and well I feel my lashes are pretty strong so I don't really know how this one will benefit me. On the other hand I may try this out to see if it will stimulate the growth of new lashes and make my existing ones longer. It's worth a shot!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 12

Just found the link for this and was like wow that was more than I was expecting on the price front. However this top coat does make your nail's look glossy and have that high shine finish that we all seem to crave. It does make your nail polish longer than if there was no top coat however does it compare the my beloved Nails Inc Caviar Top Coat? Not really I'd rather pay a little bit for well sn outstanding nail product. But to be fair this was a nice thing to receive on day 12 so oh well!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 11

Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. I'm really starting to hate perfume samples and is it just me or does every time I open one the amount I actually get decrease. Idek. What a bloody stress. I'm not a fan of the Ghost perfume or this one both are a bit meh for me. I just feel like 1 or 2 perfume samples is okay but this is just a little too much considering the £30 price tag. Ygm?

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 9

Not sure of the colour but how pretty is this. I love the colour so nice and will suite everyone and anyone also the formula is pretty good too I love the shinny finish, makes the polish look super glossy and much more expensive that it is. It lives up to the claim of 10 days for sure, it survived school and work! These are on the boots website for only £3.99 which is a steal, defiantly going to pick up some other shades, too good of polish to turn down!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 10

Sweet Jesus it's an Orly product. Orly is an amazing Australian brand that are probably best known for their beautiful nail polish in the shade rage. I'm lusting for it. A bottle of this normally retails for about £5 at boots so this is ace. It has a unique rubberized formula so it is designed to make you nails smoother i.e. no ridges and make the nail polish last longer. I can vouch for both these things it is incredible, I love how pro-longed my polish and how smoothly it glides over the top leaving it all even a pretty. Defiantly a win for me!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 8

Award for the ugliest hair tie goes to .... this! Yay! What even is this, I saw the big door and got excited that it was going to be some amazing product. Oh no, it was this tatty thing, the only good thing I can say about ti is that its by Umberto Giannini and I do really like his hair products they really do add volume to my flat hair but this, this is not good. Come on boot please give me a better day tomorrow.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 7

DISAPPOINTING. I'm not a fan of the smell. It is only half full and I just don't like perfume samples they are a cop out to me and I just have no purpose for this. It's a cheap scent and its too dark and musky for me. I am a woman. I like fruity/floral girly scents not this dark stuff. Nope not for me. Sorry Boots. Let's pray for a better day!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 6

This serum claims to do everything. It swear. It aims to remove anti-ageing and wrinkles, make the skin glow and look renewed. Now I find Vichy is brand that is aimed more towards the likes of my mother who has more mature skin than mine. See for me in a serum I look for something that reduces redness, helps fight the acne of teenage skin and reduces the dryness I suffer from. This may be a lovely serum but I just don't think it's the serum for me and I may pass it onto my mother who may fall in love with it. It's a lot cheaper than the one she actually wants to hopefully she can fall in love with this instead.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 5

Today is a hard one for me to write about purely because I don't look for matte foundations. I have very dry skin so I go for more dewy textures that don't cling to my dry patches. So for me personally this isn't a holy grail foundation however my friend also had this calender for Christmas and she personally enjoys this foundation. It offers a good coverage and is perfect for more combination/oily skin issues. So I would say defiantly worth a try if you have oily skin, its a good price for a good product!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 4

Too much of a good thing? Day 4 was a little bit of a let down on the brilliant run of the first days but I guess not all can be brilliant, and lets be honest this is a nice perfume so I guess you can't knock it too much and well it is a nice way to try out a new scent. This a lovely fruity floral scent, very girly maybe not 100% me but still nice enough. You win some you lose some all the same to me.

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 3

I'm slightly obsessed with nail polish I have in excess of about 100 nail polishes. Ooops. Oh well another is always welcome to the family especially if it is as pretty as this beauty. I wore this to my winter ball and I loved it, about three coats and it went fully opaque. Now I know that isn't amazing but it's not meant to be, because one coat would look beautiful over any nail polish. The formula and brush of this is perfect and I couldn't ask for a better nail polish in my calender. LOVE!

Boots Beauty Advent Calender // Day 2

LOVE. Does that count as a review? Hmm maybe not, but I feel its the best way to describe my feelings towards this product. I love the smell of the product, the texture and the feel it leaves on my lips. I love the fact the shape is coned so it makes for quick and easy application on those cold winter days. I think it's a brilliant little lip balm for on the go and when I opened door number 2, I was filled with glee. Perfect product for an advent calender, it really does moisturise your lips and prevent further chapping. Ace product thumbs up boots!

Boots Beauty Advent Calendar // Day 1

Hello my lovelies,
So I haven't really been that regular with posts and for that I'm sorry and well new year new start. With no time like the present I'm going to change my ways this month. As you can see one of my early Christmas presents was the Boots Beauty Advent Calenders and this month I shall do a miniature review of each product every day of this month, well until it finishes. That's right 24 days of little review and maybe a few extra posts in between. Exciting times lie ahead so without further ado lets get cracking!
So day number 1 left me with no disappointment, that's right a Soap and Glory miniature. This body wash has that classic Soap and Glory scent that we all know and love. It lathers up and leaves the skin not only feeling clean but silky smooth and refreshed. There is a Soap and Glory body wash for everyone, so if you haven't given this one a go then its a definite must! Another plus about this product is that it is very fairly priced and well the sample size is fair, so you can really judge if you enjoy it. What i'm trying to say is that it's not a pathetic packet sample! So day 1 was pretty exciting, just you wait for the other 23 days!
