review // My First Mac

Hey guys,

I have reached an exciting moment in my life and well I simply can not contain my excitement. If you hadn't guess by the photo or the title I got MY FIRST MAC LIPSTICK. Yes. It has happened and I think it was one of the best moments of my life. Okay maybe that was the over kill but I have to share this with you. 

 More pictures of the packaging because its just hot okay. If MAC lipsticks were a person they would be the pretty popular girls that everyone wanted to be friends with. It's the truth.

If you guessed Plumful then you were very right indeed. Yes I caved in on this stunning plumy colour with alight red/pink undertone to it. It has a lovely, thick, creamy consistency to it that makes it a dream to apply. The color lasts about 3/4 without re-applying which is pretty impressive and I have no complaints in pulling this bad boy out to re-apply. I'm like 'Yes, admire my MAC lipstick, envy it'. Okay it's getting a little weird i'm sorry but I know that it is a fact that everyone that loves make-up feels this obsessed when they get their first MAC lipstick! What was your first shade? haul // This shop will be the death of me.

Hey guys,
Yes. We all know where this is going. I have fallen so hard for Lush that I find myself buying and buying from them to the point where I ask mum to buy and buy things from Lush so I can try them. I really don't think this is healthy but hey it smells so good and is all good for me, so it has to be okay? Right? Anyways I made my first online order and picked up only one thing as such and it was half price so that's allowed! This is the ever so lovely 'House Of Fun' gift set so I shall go through everything in this little box of joy!

So the first thing I pulled out of this amazing smelling box was the 'Whoosh Shower Jelly' which is basically what it says on the tin, a shower jelly. This smells utterly divine with a wake me up feel to it. This may be down to the lemon, grapefruit and lime juice within it but sweet Jesus this smells frickin amazing! The next thing I stumbled upon was 'The Rocket Reusable Bubble Bar'. Now I have a review of this coming up so not too many spoilers but I wouldn't use the term 'reusable' with it. It smells very woody and much more mature than anything else within this house box but it still has that funess to it. 

I then was reunited with an old friend the 'Party Popper'. I LOVE this bath product and I did a lovely review of it here. It's not a bubbly but it does produce a lovely smelling bath with lots of confetti to celebrate the new year! I used this bad boy the other day and I feel in love again such a shame it is only around in the festive season :(. Lastly in the box was 'Space Girl'. I think this one of the most common things from Lush and it is available all year long. Personally I wasn't that excited by it but it did smell really good with all the citrus smells within it. I also am a sucker for gimmicks and well popping candy defiantly classes as a gimmick so ...

I think this was one of the best Christmas sets knocking around at Lush an I managed to pick it up in the sales! But do not dispare two items are available all year round and are both very reasonably price. Have you picked anything up from Lush recently? selfie // Partying!

Hey guys, so today I thought i'd share a little something different with you to sort of explain the lack of post and maybe give you a little insight to my life. God knows why you'd want that! Anyways over the last few weekends I've been to a few urm get together's ie Parties! I'd have to say it's only very recently that I've been enjoying house parties I used to be very pessimistic about them but I had a sudden change of heart after loosening up a bit and just having a bit of fun! Anyways I found that actually I really love going to them. I like dancing to some of my favorite songs and singing them ridiculousness loud and out of tune! I also love talking to people that I never thought I would purely because I thought they were 'socially superior' which is a load of bull. But seriously if you ever get invited to one don't sit there and think its a big lets drink loads thing! Because you know that's what some people do but not all they are actually super fun and you just end up having a great laugh! I'm going to leave you with some, well, lets say attractive photo's enjoy!

1. I have a really bad habit of biting the skin around my nails
2. I have an irrational fear of the hair dressers
3. I live with my mum and i'm an only child biologically

5. I live by routine and if I break the pattern it causes me to panic a lot
6. I can be very sarcastic and crude but a lot of people just see that as me

Hopefully studying medicine at uni and in a relationship with a nice young lad.(a girl can dream)

I recommend any MUA pallet to anyone they are so pigmentated and such good value for money there is no reason why everyone doesn't have one in there lives.
3. What advise would you give anyone thinking of starting a blog?
Just remember to be yourself and write about something you really enjoy. You don't have to follow everyone else and don't worry about what everyone else may think just make it your own!
4. Which do you prefer, summer or winter?
Hmmm it's got to be the winter I love wearing my coat and being all wrapped up and having nice warm baths. Normally I feel ill in the summer and it gets too hot for me!
5. What made you decide you wanted to start a blog?
Honestly, it was a spark of the moment thing. I started reading beauty blogs ages ago and I always thought I really want to do that. Then one day I was like lets do this and I haven't looked back!
6. What is the once piece of clothing/one accessory you can't live without?
My owl necklaces. Anyone that knows me, knows that I have a wide collection of owl necklaces and I seriously couldn't live without them.
7. Do you like to travel? Where is the best place you have been?
I LOVE travelling. I want to go everywhere and anywhere! My favorite place was defiantly New York and I hope one day to back there!
8. Do you keep a journal or diary?
I use too but I never seemed to update it and when I look back on what I wrote well lets say it wasn't sunshine and rainbows so I stopped.

I can't because I have too many people I count as best friends and they are all different and that's what makes them brilliant friends for me!

I try to live without regret and just think that the decisions I made then has just led me to a different future that is more interesting without sounding to hippyish ;)

This is so hard because there are so many different people that do for different reasons. Well Dr Greg House is one, Dr Sheldon Cooper for another but then people like Rihanna and Beyonce do. Then people like Audrey Hepburn and Coco Channel!

review // Soap and Glory Shower Trip

(sorry for the poor photo's it's due to getting home late and the darkness and sorry!)

 Hey Guys,

I pretty sure by now many of you would have seen this lovely set from soap and glory. I managed to pick up 'Shower Trip' for £9 in the Boots sale and too say i'm in love well. You get 6 miniatures and a luther in a lovely s&g bag. Some of these products are my cult classics and some are new to me and I can't wait to test them out. The products I am familiar with include; 'The Righteous Butter', 'Hand Food' and 'Scrub Of Your Life'. All of which I really enjoy and having these smaller sizes are going to be so useful, they all have that recognizable 'Soap and Glory' smell that you could spot a mile off. So that leaves; 'Clean On Me' a shower gel which really lathers up, 'Calm One Calm All' a bubble bath which to be honest I haven't really tried much due to have masses of Lush products so Lush is to blame as ever and last but not least 'Girligo' a moisterising  spray which I think is lovely maybe i'm just a sucker for the gimmick of being able to spray it instead of having to dip my fingers in a tub! Overall I am in love with this set I have gotten so much use out of that bag and the products are to die for! I really want to try the hot cloth cleanser, peaches clean cleanser and the sugar crush scrub! Have you brought this set? Or if not what are your soap and glory cult classics?
